PostJudd Conspiracy Theory

Was Oro's 'business trip' just a front for his plan to kidnap Peter and David, or what?

Wouldn't that be a Post-Duck Conspiracy theory?

The Daily Duck, like the Catholic church, was one of the last bastions of male supremacy until erp and I intruded. If that is what's keeping the boys away, I'll gladly make this my last comment and return to being a silent reader! (Can't speak for erp, though)

That was my theory, monix. For a long time, going back to Judd, the moderating presence of intelligent women was notably absent. Two show up and three guys disappear.

It's like junior high school.

Don't go, though. They can probably be lured out onto the dance floor again if you don't giggle about their cowlicks.

Yes, please don't go on their account! We just rehash old arguments with them, whereas you and erp bring a fresh perspective to the DD.

Thanks for the compliment, Harry.

I'll just watch for a while.

No, I'm still here. But I was laid low by a bug for what seemed like an eternity and fell far behind at work and elsewhere. It also led me to reflect a lot on how much time and mental energy I was devoting to this gig, and so I decided I'm going to take a good long break.

monix, don't even think that way. After spending four years trying to figure out what Skipper means when he says something "works", savouring the arcane delights of Harry's highly creative history of the world and watching Brit wrestle every deep philosophical problem through "dunnoism", (which as far as I can tell is defined as ordering another pint, complaining about the English soccer team and watching clips of Amy on YouTube), you and erp are refreshing voices of sanity. Soldier on, please.

Have you all seen this? (after the 30 second commercial)

Thank you kindly, everyone. I'll put my odd two penn'orth in then.

I hope you are better, Peter. The news clip is great.

monix, great feminine minds think alike. I've stopped commenting as well, although I'll check in once in while to see what's new. It was fun while it lasted.

Just admit it, erp, you're hooked! There's no leaving the Daily Duck once you've given it a try.

Nice try. You forget I practice family law. I'm very familiar with the feminine inclination to roar in with the fierceness of a she-bear and then defer demurely when the temperature rises. Won't work here. You're in, you've established your credentials and now you are just going to have to get in touch with your internal male. Believe me, we external ma;es could profit from it.

Duck:

Thanks, but it will be spotty until the summer, I'm afraid.

You misinterpret my decision to stop commenting. It's that I don't want to mess up a fun situation you guys have, but I'll click over once in a while to see what you're up to. Everyone stay well.

The answer is obvious: Oro is off inventing pants with self-adjusting legs.
