No photoshopping at all, aside from a tiny bit of color correction on the still.

Amazing resemblance to a whale.

BTW, you haven't commented on the recent secret mission to take photos of Air Force One flying over NYC.

The White House scenario seems pretty fishy ;-}.

This Ann Althouse post is interesting, especially the seemingly informed comments.

What do you think?

Amazing resemblance to a whale.Actually, you can't see the resemblance from below. The 747 is called "The Whale" among pilots because its iconic hump on the top forward portion of the fuselage.

hump on top of fuselage -> Hump Back Whale -> "The Whale".

++++

The Ann Althouse post was an excellent example of seemingly factual inferences used to draw a firm conclusion.

I hadn't commented on it because I could contribute nothing but informed speculation.

But that is one step closer to a good guess than she got.

I thought it looked like pictures of whales I'd seen taken from underwater. I'd never seen the bottom of a 747 from below.

Even though the WH explanation isn't believable IMO, the mystery of the flight over NYC may never be solved since the media seems to have no interest in pursuing it.
