It will lock up the Alaska vote, for sure.
And the women's vote.
Plus, it gives those independents -- and Democrats -- who are looking for a reason to vote against Obama and still be able to look in the mirror the next morning.
Also, adds youth to the ticket, and her executive experience beats heck out of both Obama and Hillary.
Heck, the Alaska vote is just icing on that cake.
McCain's a seriously old guy. His VP needs to be somebody who can credibly take over as President. Not somebody who's not even had two years experience governing a state with a population lower than Fort Worth.
Pawlenty would seem the best pick.
