The link is broken?
Barbers don't have clients? They have customers seeking hair experiences?
David,
Sorry about the broken link. I saw it on Drudge, but it isn't there now. But the question is valid without the details.
Peter,
Good guess, but wrong.
"Second client" should read "client for a second time" or "another client" or even "client again". It is the occurance that is second, not the client.
Then Duck's headline ought to be "What's wrong with this customer?"
Joe got it. Why would a barber who stabbed a customer with scissors ever get another customer to stab?
Here's the article. Apparently, the first time he was cleared by reason of self-defense.
Oh Puleeze! Self-Defence, temporary insanity, negligence, accident or he could have been the prison barber.
A little off-topic, but we used to like watching the series "The Real Emergency Room", on TLC I think. It was sort of like E.R. except with real shootings and stabbings and belligerent drunk people. Anyway, one day this farmer gets wheeled in on the gurney with his hand all bandaged up, and his wife trailing behind him with a couple of his fingers in a ziploc bag full of ice. The E.R. doc asks him what happened. "Oh, table saw", he says. Guy was perfectly calm about the whole thing. So they X-ray his hand, and sure enough he's got pins in two other fingers. What happened that time? they ask him. "Oh, table saw" he says again, and behind him you see his wife just shaking her head.
Peter, The headline could be read that he stabbed his first (ever) "client" and then stabbed the second client, i.e., the guy right behind the first one.
